Why the same day

Crises move in days, not weeks.

Silicon Valley Bank went from the first public worry to a closed bank in about 48 hours. In September 2022 the Bank of England had to step in within days of the UK bond sell-off. In August 2024 a jump in the yen reached tech shares and crypto around the world within three trading days. In weeks like these, a weekly reading tells you what has already happened. A same-day report gives you time to think and act.

Why Six Ravens

Crises rarely start where you are looking.

Three Ravens watches what you hold. Six Ravens also watches what could hit it.

Stress travels. It starts in one corner of the system, often one most investors do not follow, and spreads to the markets they do. A shareholder in tech companies had no reason to watch the yen in July 2024; a saver with a UK pension had no reason to watch gilt auctions in September 2022. Both were hit within days.

Six Ravens watches all ten areas, so you hear about the first move wherever it happens, the same day, and see how it spreads in the weekday briefing. For $25 a month more than Three Ravens (paid yearly) you get five more desks, and every desk we add later.

  1. September 2022 · UK government bonds

A sudden sell-off in gilts forced pension funds to sell whatever they could, and the Bank of England had to step in.

  2. November 2022 · Crypto

One exchange collapsed. Lenders, funds and other platforms exposed to it followed within weeks.

  3. August 2024 · Currencies

The yen jumped first. Within days, tech shares and crypto were falling around the world.

  4. March 2026 · Shipping

Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz stopped. Oil rose about half above its yearly average, feeding inflation and bond markets.

Where do I see the readings?

In your panel, which every subscriber has, free plan included. One Raven shows the overall gauge, updated with each Friday report; Three Ravens adds the Core and your two desks, and Six Ravens all ten areas, both updated every weekday. The public website shows the method and the record since 2007, not the current reading.

What is the Core, and why is it in every plan?

Banks, credit and markets. Systemic crises start there and spread to everything else, including currencies and crypto. A desk without the Core would show you the symptoms without the cause.

How many reports will I receive?

The Friday report, plus a same-day report when the overall level changes or a desk you watch reaches Alert or leaves it. In our backtest since 2007 that happened on about 14 days a year across all desks; 1 whole years passed with no warning at all. Fewer desks means fewer reports. Moves between Stable and Caution are in your Friday report, or the same day with Six Ravens.

Why the ravens?

Legend holds that if the ravens ever leave the Tower of London, the kingdom will fall, and six must always stay. One Raven keeps the essentials in view, Three Ravens watches the Core and the two areas closest to you, and Six Ravens is the full guard: every area, every weekday.

What if I want more than two desks?

Six Ravens watches every area, including desks we add later, for $49 a month ($480 a year). It also brings every change the same day, the weekday briefing, the daily indicators with a data download, Public Alarm (sudden public attention to bank runs, crashes or war), and a price lock.

Can I change my desks later?

Yes. With Three Ravens you can swap your two desks at any time; the change applies from the next report.

Monthly or yearly?

Either. Paid yearly, Three Ravens costs $180 ($15 a month, saving $48) and Six Ravens $480 ($40 a month, saving $108): more than two months free. You can switch between monthly and yearly at your next billing date, and cancel at any time: you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Is this investment advice?

No. Ravenmaster reports on the state of the financial system using public data. We never tell you to buy, sell or move anything, and we do not know your circumstances. What you do with the information is your decision.

Does an Alert mean I should sell?

No. An Alert means stress in that area is high compared with history. Markets can keep rising during an Alert or fall without one. Ravenmaster tells you what is happening in the system, not what to do with your money.

Do you predict crashes?

No one can date a crisis. We measure stress as it builds and tell you when it is unusual, broad or easing. Some warnings will be followed by calm; that is the nature of a warning.

Where does the information come from?

From 57 market data series and 81 official and news sources, including the Federal Reserve, the US Treasury, the FDIC, the European Central Bank and the Bank of England. See every source.

Will my price go up?

Not because of new desks or features. Six Ravens includes every desk, new ones too, and its price is locked: as the service grows the price for new subscribers may rise, while yours stays the one you joined at. For every plan, prices may be adjusted once a year in line with inflation, by at most 5%, with 30 days' notice; you can cancel at any time.

Can I cancel?

Yes, at any time from the link in every report. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

How do I pay, and why will my statement say Paddle?

Prices are in US dollars. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our authorised reseller and merchant of record, so the charge on your card statement will come from Paddle, not Ravenmaster. Paddle processes the payment, adds any VAT or sales tax due in your country (shown at checkout before you pay), and sends your invoice. We never see or store your card details. Payments are non-refundable, except where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund; see our terms. For billing questions you can contact Paddle or us.
